See what So Solid had to say in this World Pop interview Taking Liberites|4 Octiber 2001 (Courtesy If World Pop) Former Popstars TV show contestants Liberty have hit back at Oxide & Neutrino who have accused them of jumping on the garage bandwagon with their first single, Thinking It Over. Garage duo Oxide & Neutrino had originally told worldpop that Liberty were wrong to incorporate garage sounds into their music. 'It's not real and they shouldn't do it,' Neutrino told worldpop. 'It's really positive that people like us and So Solid Crew are winning awards cos it's giving garage music a good name but bands like Liberty stop people from taking garage music seriously.' 'I don't know why they said that. We've only had one track out so far,' Liberty's Kelli told worldpop. 'I don't understand it at all.' 'They should take it as a compliment that so many artists are interested in garage these days,' added Liberty singer Tony. 'We're influenced by R&B and garage so that's bound to come out in our music. It's not a case of trying to copy acts like Oxide & Neutrino so I think their comments are out of order.' 'We got to No 5 with Thinking It Over so obviously the public disagreed with them,' added singer Jessica.
